Privacy
Short version: an email address if you buy something or subscribe, the country your card was issued in because tax rules require it, and anonymous page counts. No advertising, no tracking cookies, no data sold.
What we collect

The analytics carry no cookie and no identifier for you as a person. That is why this site has no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
What you type into a tool on this site stays in your own browser. It is saved to your browser's local storage so the tool remembers it, and it is not transmitted to us.
Who processes it
- Stripe — payment. Your card details go to Stripe and not to us.
- Resend — sends the delivery and update emails.
- Buttondown — holds the newsletter list.
- Plausible — anonymous analytics.
- Google Firebase — hosts the site and the purchase records.
These providers operate outside Japan, so the data above is processed outside Japan. Each of them is bound by its own contract with us to process it only for the purpose above.
How long we keep it
- Purchase records — seven years, because Japanese bookkeeping rules require it.
- Newsletter address — until you unsubscribe, then deleted from the list.
- Review waitlist entries — until reviews open and you have been contacted, or 12 months, whichever is sooner.
- Analytics — aggregate counts only; there is nothing in there tied to you.
Your requests
Email info@coharu.work to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We reply within five business days. The one thing we cannot delete on request is a purchase record inside the seven-year bookkeeping period, and we will say so if that applies.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects what we collect or who processes it, the change goes out in the newsletter as well as here.
